American Idol: Cecil Ray’s Boldest Country Fashion Looks From 2021

Throughout his time on American Idol, Cecil Ray made some bold fashion statements, and we’re here to share his fashion highlights. Before he rose to infamy due to his alleged burglary and assault, he was known for a nervous stage presence and for being dubbed the “country Justin Bieber” by judge Katy Perry. Of course, he was also known for his country clothing style. From his audition to his departure, he wore a number of distinctive outfits.

For his audition in Ojai, California, the Texas native sang “Talkin’ Tennessee,” which perfectly suited his Southern drawl. While performing the song, he wore a bright yellow sweater accented with a long silver chain. The chain featured a cross pendant. The Southern man also wore a pair of straight-leg jeans and brown cowboy boots. During his home footage, Cecil was also seen in a blue and white gingham shirt with buttons.

He kept the blue theme going during Hollywood Week. He wore denim from head to toe. The 20-year-old wore a light blue jean jacket over a collared burgundy shirt. Once again, he chose jeans, his cross necklace, and cowboy boots. Sometimes, Cecil’s fashion choices were a little tamer. When he sang “Paint Me a Birmingham” by Tracy Lawrence, he donned a black t-shirt, light gray jeans, and the expected cowboy boots.
