Global Fashion Group names new CEO of Dafiti

E-tail giant Global Fashion Group has named a new CEO for its Latin American online platform Dafiti. Andre Farber takes over at the operation after joining from Boticario Group.

GFG’s co-CEO Christoph Barchewitz said the appointment is a “very exciting and important next step in this new era for Dafiti. As the demand for e-commerce and more online consumer categories continues to accelerate, his extensive knowledge of the local market, deep connection to the LATAM consumer and expansive network, will be invaluable in taking Dafiti into this next chapter”.

He’ll be heading a team of more than 3,000 people and a business that has 8 million active customers in its four operational countries.

The new boss has more than 20 years of experience, joining, as mentioned, from Boticario Group where he served most recently as the company’s Vice-President, responsible for retail operations, brand and product development, channel strategy and commercial relationships.

He was at the group for 11 years, and was “involved in transforming Boticario from a mono-brand, mono-channel company to a multi-brand, multi-channel business and ultimately, growing [it] into one of the biggest cosmetic companies in Brazil”.
