As many of the nation’s top prospects aim to make college decisions before their senior seasons, these blue-chippers head back out on the road this weekend, the last opportunity to visit campuses before the NCAA Dead Period hits.

247Sports gives you the run down on some of the more notable visits taking place.

Dan Lanning and the first year Ducks staff have eight commitments and sit at No. 23 in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings. With the targets they’re in on, they have a runway to make a serious push for a Top 10 haul if not Top five.

Many of those coveted recruits are in Eugene this weekend.

Three five-stars headline the list in quarterback Dante Moore, running back Richard Young and edge rusher Matayo Uiagalelei. Moore arrived Thursday night and is staying through the weekend on an unofficial while the others are all in on an official. I logged a 247Sports Crystal Ball forecast in favor of the Ducks for Moore coming into the trip after reporting for weeks that the Pac 12 program has the momentum.
