Bockenstedt fanned eight as New Ulm improved to 11-1 in the TEL.
Justin Haugo was tagged with the loss for Springfield, now also 11-1 in league play.
J.T. Hoffmann, Hunter Ranweiler, Zach More and Josh Seidl each had two hits for the Brewers who play at Leavenworth Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
Jake Poehler, Decker Scheffler, and Ryan Sturm each had two hits for Springfield who host Searles Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
The Brewers wasted little time in getting an early lead on the Tigers scoring a run in the first off of the lefthanded Haugo when Hoffmann singled, scampered to second on a wild pitch and then stole third. He scored on a Peters’ single.
