Pianist Hsing-Yi Tsai Rose is the first performer in the Summer Music Series at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 1410 Chapline St., in downtown Wheeling. Her concert will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, in the main sanctuary of St. Matthew’s. A free-will donation at the door is asked of attendees. Wheelchair access is through the 15th Street door of the church. Members of the audience are asked to wear a mask while inside the church in compliance with Episcopal diocesan directives.
A native of Taiwan, Dr. Tsai-Rose recently completed her music doctorate in piano performance at West Virginia University, and holds the Artist Diploma from Campbellsville University.
Dr. Tsai-Rose performs as soloist and chamber musician throughout the USA and Taiwan and is currently working on a solo piano recording project with Albany Records. She and her husband, pianist-composer John Alan Rose, formed the Rose Piano Duo and began performing in the fall of 2019.
