The first half of No. 3 Ohio State’s game against No. 12 Oregon was a dry one for quarterback C.J. Stroud and the offense. The Buckeyes mustered just seven points and entered the locker room down 14-7.

Stroud was 16 of 22 for 190 yards and one touchdown in the first half. The big story was the Oregon defense swarming Ohio State in the trenches without two of its best players in Justin Flowe and Kayvon Thibodeaux.

Ohio State started slow last week at Minnesota and ended up turning it around. Will that happen this week?

Throughout the first half, memebers of the media weighed in on the struggles of the Buckeyes early on in this one. It’s been quite some time we’ve seen Ohio State this out of sorts in a regular-season game:

Stroud’s inaccuracy was evident early on in this one. Should Ohio State look to win this game, that will need to change like it did last week at Minnesota.
