Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart steal a turtle in the first look at Me Time. Written and directed by John Hamburg, the Netflix comedy follows Hart as Sonny, a stay-at-home dad who finds himself with a little “me time” for the first time in years while his wife and kids are away. Me Time actually marks Hart and Hamburg’s second collaboration together, as the filmmaker previously served as a writer on the comedian’s 2018 film Night School.
Gifted with some newfound “me time,” Hart’s character ends up reconnecting with his former best friend (played by Wahlberg) and the two embark on a wild weekend that could be potentially upend their lives. Hart and Wahlberg lead the Me Time cast which also stars recent Oscars host and Girls Trip star Regina Hall as Sonny’s wife. Tahj Mowry, Carlo Rota, Jimmy O. Yang, and Luis Gerardo Méndez also star in supporting roles. Overall, Netflix hasn’t revealed much about Wahlberg and Hart’s first team-up together, until now.
