The Green Bay Packers own 10 picks in this week’s NFL Draft, including the29th pick in the first round.
Now, it’s impossible to know who the Packers will add this week with all of their picks, but the FOX 11 Sports staff is giving it a shot with their first-round prediction.
The Packers have needs on defense, like cornerback and linebacker, and offense — no, not quarterback — more like the offensive line and wide receiver.
So, here’s what the FOX 11 Sport staff predicts before Thursday’s first round:
RYAN WING/Sports Director
Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst has traded up in the first round in each of his first three drafts as GM, and he has 10 picks to use as ammunition and I think he’s going to do it again.
The player I think they’ll trade up to get is Virginia Tech CB Caleb Farley.
My only concern making this selection is Green Bay might have to get up into the late teens or early 20’s to get Farley.
