Burberry highlights Olympia bag in celebrity campaign

Burberry is spotlighting the Olympia bag, described as the signature of the house, in a new celebrity campaign starring KA Twigs, Kendal and Shy Girl.

Designed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Ricardo Tisi, the Olympia bag has a crescent-shaped curve that fits snugly on your body. “Athletic aura spoken through a defined arc,” explains Burberry.

The bag’s unique curved silhouette is hand-molded into wooden blocks and uses smooth leather to create its construction. Each bag is made in Italy, hand-shaped and painted by a craftsman’s manufacturer.

“When designing Olympia, I was thinking of making the perfect shape for a handbag, which captures the essence of femininity,” Tissi said in a statement. “So, for the campaign, I wanted to celebrate the three incredible women of my

life that embody the power and beauty of women’s energy: FKA twigs, Kendal and Shygirl.”

Olympia shoulder bags are available in a variety of sizes, styles and colors, from classic warm sand, black and burgundy to vibrant marigold yellow, pale blue and juniper green.
