The 2022 NFL Combine begins this week, and all eyes will be on potential first-round picks and household names. Because of that, it can be easy to miss some of the more unheralded gems in the draft class.
At every NFL Combine, there are players who blow scouts and the media away with an unexpected performance. In anticipation of that, CBS Sports has put together a list of one sleeper at every position in Indianapolis this weekend.
Some players, like D’Vonte Price and Cole Strange, played at smaller schools and did not get as much exposure throughout their college career. Then, there are prospects from bigger schools, like Wan’Dale Robinson and Micheal Clemons, who really broke out last season and want to prove that was no fluke.
Strange has to be one of the most experienced offensive linemen in the 2022 NFL Draft class. At Chattanooga, Strange was a starter for five seasons from 2017-21. In three of those seasons, Strange earned first-team All-SoCon honors. After a strong showing at the Senior Bowl, Strange made a name for himself, and scouts will be watching to see if he can continue that in Indianapolis.
