Jurassic World Movies Almost Had Very Different Titles

Jurassic World Dominion director Colin Trevorrow has revealed that the series almost had different titles before he settled on the final choices. Trevorrow returns to direct the third film in the trilogy after reanimating the franchise for the big screen in 2015’s Jurassic World. New release Jurassic World Dominion stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and DeWanda Wise, with Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum reprising their Jurassic Park roles.

Picking up over a decade since the last installment in the Jurassic Park trilogy released in theaters, Trevorrow’s Jurassic World series has taken the concept of a dinosaur theme park and expanded upon it in new ways. 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom raised the stakes by letting dinosaurs loose in the human world, thus setting the stage for a third movie where prehistoric creatures truly roam the earth. Jurassic World Dominion explores these global ramifications and brings the franchise to a head. And ahead of the third installment’s release, the director has revealed how the films’ titles almost reflected their individual premises.
