April was a busy month for music bookers.
I’m not gonna lie, my skills were a bit rusty. However, music is resuming, folks are returning to venues that feature live music, and we’re all grateful to get back to work! There are a few local shows I’ve booked, and a FREE concert this Saturday, May 8th you’re going to want to hear about.
The Cultural Arts Coalition in Brewster is hosting an outdoor concert on Saturday, May 8, at 7 p.m. in the Electrozone Park Gazebo. This is a FREE performance featuring local Brewster band, 1/3 of Sophie. Bring your chairs, blankets, snacks and friends.
There are also a few bookings at Daryl’s House Club in Pawling you will enjoy:
Saturday, May 8, Connecticut songwriter Erik Rabasca (Light Warriors) has a 2-hour brunch set at noon. His funky acoustic vibe with a touch of reggae will have you grooving on a Saturday afternoon!
On Wednesday, May 12, Greg Jacquin and his band of Hudson Valley musicians take to the Pawling stage at 6 p.m. for a FREE 2-hour dinner show of original Americana music.
