H.E.R. Drops ‘Back of My Mind’ Featuring Lil Baby, Chris Brown & DJ Khaled: Stream It Now

What a year it’s been for H.E.R. The American singer and songwriter (real name Gabriella Wilson) pulled off one of the biggest surprises of the 2021 Academy Awards when she won the best song Oscar for “Fight for You.”

Earlier, she scooped song of the year (for “I Can’t Breathe”) and best R&B song (“Better Than I Imagined”) at the Grammy Awards. The 2021 Bet Awards are still to come, and H.E.R. will be on stage at least once. Guaranteed.

On the new album, H.E.R. collaborated with fellow musicians including Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, and Ty Dolla $ign for new songs.

Back of My Mind is the first official studio album H.E.R. has released. Previously, she released two compilation albums – H.E.R., which was released in 2017 and I Used to Know Her, which was released in 2019.

The release of Back of My Mind comes several months after H.E.R. won the award for Best Original Song for her song “Fight For You,” which was featured in Judas and the Black Messiah, at the 2021 Oscars!

All of it is a warm up for the release of Back of My Mind, her debut full-length album which dropped at midnight. Spanning 21-tracks, the new set features assists from Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Baby, Thundercat, Chris Brown, DJ Khaled and more.
