The 2022 recruiting cycle is heating up with two months remaining until the Early Signing Period. With that in mind, we have decided to check in on the Atlantic Coast Conference recruiting classes and how they stack up heading into the home stretch.
According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Team Rankings, the ACC currently boasts nine of the top 50 recruiting classes in the country. That includes five teams ranked among the top 25 nationally.
It should be noted that verbal commitments are non-binding and prospects in the 2022 class will not be able to make it official until the Division I Early Signing Period, which begins on Dec. 15, 2021, and ends on Dec. 17, 2021. Those who elect not to sign during the early period will be able to do so on National Signing Day on Feb. 2, 2022.
